Website REDESIGN & THEME UPGRADE – 1 VIP Day

Katie contacted me for help with her baking blog. She needed a design that better communicated her niche, and she was frustrated by the Divi builder her current site used.

A website redesign in a day!

On Katie’s VIP Day, my primary focus was to switch her site from the Divi builder to a brand new Kadence Theme using Kadence and Gutenberg blocks. This involved a lot of content cleanup (to remove those pesky shortcodes), as well as full redesigns of every page.

I also fixed her subscribe opt-in forms to properly connect to her MailerLite account and made sure her plugins were all necessary (removing old ones, replacing with better ones where needed, etc.) and up to date.

Katie provided the most beautiful photographs for the redesign! There were so many options it was difficult to choose. I also fell in love with her recipes. It’s not easy to find incredible baking recipes that are both gluten and dairy free, and I have a list of recipes that I can’t wait to try.
